Jane Luella Wendland, 89, of Janesville died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Cedar Crest Health Center. Jane was born in Janesville, the daughter of Lyle K. and Victoria (Ritchie) Clifford December 14, 1925. She graduated from Janesville High school in 1944. She married Robert O. Wendland on February 20, 1948 at First Baptist Church in Janesville. Jane was a life-long Janesville resident, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Jane Wendland is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Wendland, two daughters, Cynthia (Fred) Wiedeback of Boise, Idaho, Nancy (Tom) Brennan of Janesville, three grandsons, Daniel, Nathaniel and Benjamin Wiedeback and her sister, Beverly Gray of Janesville.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 in the Chapel at Cedar Crest with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Private graveside services and burial will be Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery. The Wendland family is being assisted by Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.
